March kicked off with a visit to IFE at ExCeL London, where we had the pleasure of reconnecting with a range of industry innovators. It was a real highlight to see our botanical extracts featured in some truly exciting new products on display – a fantastic reminder of the creativity and passion driving this sector forward.
No sooner had we returned than it was time to hit the road (and rails) again, as Louis journeyed up to Liverpool for BeerX. With a packed schedule of meetings and plenty of product innovation on show, it was the perfect place to dive into all things brewing and explore how botanicals are continuing to shape this space.
The following week, the team was back out on the road – this time exhibiting at the Farm Shop & Deli Show and Foodex in Birmingham. With our stand showcasing an array of tasty creations, from cocktails and kefirs to zingy condiments, visitors had the chance to experience the versatility of our extracts first-hand.
Thanks to some serious behind-the-scenes magic from Dan (our mixology maestro), Louis on shaker duty, and hosting stars Hannah and Claire keeping samples flowing, the stand quickly became a popular pit stop for curious palates.
We welcomed interest from a huge range of businesses – from distilleries and large-scale drinks manufacturers to artisan condiment makers, both local and international. One visitor even sprinted across the hall in search of a standout elderflower extract – proof, if ever it were needed, that great flavour travels fast!
With samples and product details now winging their way across the country (and beyond), we’re hard at work turning these exciting conversations into new partnerships.
And while we may have ended the week with sore feet – and one overambitious packing job that earned us the nickname “Blue Sky Airlines” – there was no time to rest…
Just days later, Dan and Claire were back on the road to meet Gus in Bradford for an eye-opening Baobab tour. Learning more about the incredible history and gut health benefits of this unique ingredient was truly inspiring – especially when we discovered it can take up to 80 years for a tree to produce fruit!
The tour sparked some really thoughtful discussions, with several businesses keen to revisit their approach to Baobab and explore its potential in a new light.
After a short break for Easter, the team is now back – refreshed and ready to build on this momentum.
Here’s to a season of exciting new opportunities and plenty more botanical adventures to come!
